Rent a Finca in the South of Mallorca
If you love tranquility, want to discover authentic Mallorcan villages, and relax on stunning beaches, we recommend renting a finca in the south of Mallorca. Life here is still relaxed in the charming small villages, and even at the island’s longest sandy beach, Es Trenc, it never gets too crowded, as the beach and its surroundings are protected nature reserves. Just a few minutes’ drive from Es Trenc, you can relax in your villa amidst the beautiful landscape while still being within easy reach of Palma and the island’s main attractions. The area around Santanyi and Calonge is also very popular, just a short drive from the stunning coves of the southeastern coast.
Rent a Finca in the East of Mallorca
Would you like to spend your vacation in a rural idyll while still being close to the beach? Do you love the peace and charm of small towns but also enjoy going out occasionally? Then a luxury holiday home in the east of Mallorca should be at the top of your list. Here, you can stay directly by the beach or just a few minutes’ drive away. Historical towns full of charm, such as Artà or Capdepera, invite you to stroll around and visit a traditional Mallorcan bar, while in the summer, the holiday resorts of Cala Ratjada and Cala Millor offer a lively nightlife. This region has captivated German tourists and residents for many years with its stunning landscapes and picturesque towns and is sure to enchant you as well.
Rent a Finca in the North of Mallorca
If you love the mountains, want to gaze out at the deep blue Mediterranean from your holiday home, and experience the charm of small mountain villages, then you should choose your holiday home on Mallorca’s west coast or in the north. Along the wild and romantic west coast, we offer luxurious fincas, many of which have been integrated into traditional buildings. While this rugged coastline has only a few, mostly small rocky and sandy coves, the north of Mallorca, around Alcudia or Pollenca, offers the advantage of generous harbor promenades and the dreamlike Playa de Muro beach.
Rent a Finca in the Southwest of Mallorca
Would you like to spend your vacation in a truly exclusive setting along a breathtakingly beautiful coastline? Then choose the southwest of Mallorca. The region from Portal Nous to the famous harbor of Andratx is considered the most upscale area of the island. Here, celebrities from around the world and wealthy families have built impressive villas and fincas that blend picturesquely into the mountain slopes. Port d’Andratx is often described as one of the most beautiful harbors in the Mediterranean and, despite all its glamour, has retained its authentic charm. Fishermen still go out to sea here, and in the many restaurants around the harbor, you can enjoy fresh fish and a wide variety of seafood. Numerous designer shops and charming boutiques invite you to indulge in a shopping spree. The inland area boasts typical Mallorcan villages, while the coastline features beautiful coves and lively holiday resorts with a vibrant nightlife, such as Paguera or Santa Ponsa.
Rent a Finca in the Heart of Mallorca
Nowhere else on the island can you experience the authentic Mallorcan finca lifestyle as you can in the island’s interior. Here, you will find the original fincas, which were once simple farmhouses primarily used to accommodate harvest workers. Today, these homes have been lovingly restored and equipped with pools and all modern comforts. However, you can still feel the rural atmosphere while enjoying peace, nature, small villages in the surroundings, and complete privacy.
Rent a Finca in Palma de Mallorca
Do you want to go out, shop, and experience the city while still residing in peace and privacy in a villa? Then choose a property in Palma and its surroundings. In the most exclusive and beautiful districts of Palma de Mallorca and its nearby suburbs, we offer a carefully selected range of luxury villas with pools and high-end amenities. Choose to reside in the famous district of Son Vida, the stylish Portal Nous, or in an exclusive location along the coast east of the capital. Relax with a sea view, near glamorous marinas, and close to golf courses. The historic old town of Palma, the trendy Santa Catalina district, and the city’s numerous boutiques, bars, and restaurants are only a few minutes’ drive away.
Best Time to Travel to Mallorca
Mallorca is worth visiting all year round. Spring begins as early as March, you can swim in the sea until the end of October, and even in the winter months, it is much milder than in Germany. The almond blossom season from February is particularly popular, marking the arrival of spring and inviting you to enjoy a visit to a street café in mild temperatures. Due to the Mediterranean climate, summers in Mallorca are warm and dry, while winters are mild and humid. The best time for a beach holiday is between June and late September; from October, rain showers become more frequent. July and August can be very hot, so for active holidays like cycling and hiking, the months between September and May are ideal. Keep in mind that in the Tramuntana mountains in the west, it can get quite cold in winter, and the smaller holiday resorts on the north, east, and south coasts go into a kind of hibernation between November and April. Shops and restaurants are then mainly found in larger towns and inland. However, in Alcudia, Manacor, and the southwest of the island, you will find a selection of restaurants, bars, and shops open all year round, while Palma offers vibrant city life throughout the year.
Sights & Excursions in Mallorca
The island of Mallorca offers such a wealth of sights and excursions that one stay is hardly enough to see everything. Here is a selection of the most important attractions:
A visit to the island’s capital, Palma de Mallorca, is an absolute must. Known as an international hotspot, the city boasts countless bars, restaurants, and an impressive nightlife. The famous cathedral and the adjacent Almudaina Royal Palace will captivate culture enthusiasts. Be sure to also explore the trendy district of La Catalina, with its stylish shops and bars.
On the east coast, near Porto Cristo, the breathtaking “Cuevas del Drach” (Dragon Caves) are well worth a visit. Afterward, you can stop by one of the stunning beach coves in the area or enjoy a meal in the charming fishing villages of Porto Cristo or Cala Figuera.
In the west and north of the island, the imposing Tramuntana mountain range invites you to explore and hike. The mountain town of Sóller can be reached from Palma by a charming old train, winding its way leisurely through vineyards and up into the mountains. In the north, you should not miss the impressive Cap Formentor, a peninsula extending into the deep blue Mediterranean. Nearby Alcudia, the oldest town on the island, is perfect for a stroll through its historic old town or along the bustling marina promenade, where you can find delightful restaurants. The long sandy beach of Playa de Muro offers a relaxing break afterward.
For shopping, besides Palma, the town of Inca is known for its leather goods, while Manacor, the island’s second-largest city, is famous for producing the renowned “Majorica pearls.” As you can see, Mallorca has much to discover and experience! We are happy to provide further tips—just give us a call.
Sports Activities in Mallorca
With more than 500 kilometers of coastline, Mallorca is a paradise for all kinds of water sports. During the summer months, you can go windsurfing, sailing, kitesurfing, or diving while relaxing on beautiful sandy beaches, rocky coves, or secluded bays. You can also enjoy fun and adventure with the whole family at one of the island’s many water parks, featuring giant slides and wave pools.
For golfers, Mallorca is a true paradise. The island boasts a variety of golf courses, some of which are world-famous, such as Golf Son Vida. Mallorca has also become a haven for cyclists. Many professional teams train here during the winter, and hobby cyclists can find a wide range of routes to suit all skill levels. Well-marked paths lead along the coast and through picturesque villages.
Hikers can explore the beauty of the landscape and the impressive mountain ranges on countless trails. Particularly popular are hikes in the high mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana in the west or the rolling hills of the Serra Llevant in the east. The GR 221, the famous “Dry Stone Route,” is a demanding trail for experienced hikers that largely runs away from inhabited areas.
Mallorca offers a wide variety of activities—choose what suits you best. Everyone in your travel group will find something they enjoy!
Restaurants & Culinary Experiences in Mallorca
Mallorca offers a rich culinary diversity that you can experience in its many restaurants and bars. Mallorcan cuisine is characterized by fresh, regional ingredients, which you can also buy at local farmers’ markets to prepare delicious meals in the comfort of your finca’s kitchen.
Be sure to try “Sobrasada,” a paprika-spiced sausage, or “Tumbet,” a traditional Mallorcan vegetable casserole. The weekly markets in many inland towns and villages are not only a great shopping opportunity but also a social gathering place. Don’t miss the chance to stop for a “Café solo” in one of the small bars, perhaps accompanied by an “Ensaimada,” a sweet pastry. Alternatively, enjoy a glass of local wine with a selection of tapas or the traditional “Pa amb Oli” (bread with olive oil and tomatoes).
In addition to traditional, often hidden bars and restaurants, Mallorca also boasts a great selection of gourmet restaurants offering high-end cuisine. Restaurant recommendations can be found here.
Also, be sure to visit one of the island’s many wineries—the most famous ones are located around Binissalem and offer wine tastings. If you are in Palma, you must visit the Mercado de Olivar, an impressive market with numerous food and tasting stalls inside spacious market halls, open from Monday to Saturday.
What Should You Not Miss in Mallorca?
Be sure to visit one of the vibrant local weekly markets and immerse yourself in the Mediterranean atmosphere. Stroll past market stalls filled with fresh regional products, shop for dinner, and browse numerous stands selling local handicrafts and souvenirs. Take a break in a nearby bar for a coffee or a glass of wine and soak in the authentic Mallorcan ambiance.

Palma de Mallorca’s international airport is located east of the capital. From there, it takes about 40 minutes to reach the holiday villas in the southwest near Port d’Andratx, about 45–55 minutes to Alcudia and the Tramuntana mountains, and just over an hour to the east coast destinations such as Cala Ratjada and Porto Cristo.
